광진구 자양1동 공립어린이집 설계공모 제출안이다.

건물은 기역자 형태로 배치하여 남측에 외부 놀이공간을 조성하고, 이를 통해 채광을 극대화하였다. 옥상에는 외부 놀이터와 텃밭을 계획하여 아이들이 자연과 교감할 수 있는 입체적인 활동 공간을 마련하였다. 1층 중앙에는 ‘뜰마루’라 이름 붙인 공용공간을 배치해 외부 놀이공간과 직접 연결되도록 하였으며, 2층에는 ‘봄마루’를 계획하고 3층 바닥 일부를 개방하여 층 간 시각적 소통이 이루어지도록 하였다.

주 외장재로는 백색 벽돌을 사용하고, 창틀에 다양한 색채를 적용하여 밝고 즐거운 어린이집의 모습을 구현하였다.

The building is arranged in an L-shaped configuration, creating a south-facing outdoor play area that maximises natural daylight. The rooftop incorporates an outdoor playground and vegetable garden, providing children with layered spaces for activity and interaction with nature. At the centre of the first floor, a shared space named “Tteulmaru” serves as a communal hub directly connected to the outdoor play area. On the second floor, a space called “Bommaru” was introduced, and a portion of the third-floor slab was opened to establish visual connectivity between levels.

White brick was selected as the primary exterior material, while window frames were finished in a variety of colors to create a bright and joyful atmosphere appropriate for a childcare environment.
