​신사동 다가구주택

은평구 신사동의 오래되고 좁은 골목길에 위치한 이 프로젝트는 작은 규모의 작업공간과 임대 스튜디오, 그리고 주인세대의 주거가 한 건물 안에 층별로 구성된 다가구주택이다. 

1층에는 작은 공방을 배치하고, 2층과 3층에는 각각 세 개의 원룸 주거를 계획하였다. 원룸의 경우 제한된 면적 안에서도 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 평면을 구성하였으며, 모든 유닛에서 채광과 환기가 극대화되도록 창의 위치와 비례를 세심하게 조정하였다. 4층과 5층에는 두 명의 성인과 두 아이를 위한 주인세대가 자리한다. 4층에는 거실과 외부 테라스를 두어 일상의 중심을 형성했고, 5층에는 침실을 배치해 보다 조용하고 내밀한 영역으로 구성하였다.

외장은 STO사의 렌더 마감재를 적용해 단단하고 절제된 표면을 구현하였으며, 경사지붕은 은빛 금속강판을 돌출이음 방식으로 시공하여 단순한 형태 속에 섬세한 디테일을 더했다.

This project is located along a narrow, ageing alley in Sinsa-dong, Eunpyeong-gu. It is conceived as a compact mixed-use building that vertically combines a small workshop, rental studio units, and the owner’s residence within a single structure.

The ground floor accommodates a small workshop, while the second and third floors each contain three one-room studio units. Despite their limited size, the units are carefully planned for efficient use, with the position and proportion of the windows meticulously adjusted to maximise daylight and natural ventilation for every unit. The fourth and fifth floors are dedicated to the owner’s family, designed for two adults and two children. The fourth floor features the living room and an outdoor terrace, serving as the centre of daily life, while the fifth floor comprises the bedrooms, creating a quieter and more private domain.

The exterior is finished with STO render, creating a solid and restrained surface. The sloped roof is clad in silver metal panels installed with a standing seam detail, adding refined s to the building’s otherwise simple form.
