연남동 근린생활시설
연남동 주택가의 좁은 골목길 옆에 자리한 근린생활시설 건물이다. 1층은 상점, 2층은 사무실, 3~4층은 주거 공간으로 계획하였다.
일조사선 제한에 따라 3층 남측 입면은 눈높이 정도의 높이부터 4층까지 경사지붕 형태로 후퇴하며 구성되었고, 4층에는 넉넉한 외부 테라스를 마련해 도심 속 여유로운 외부 공간을 확보하였다. 외장 마감에는 긴 비례감을 가진 호주산 흑벽돌을 사용하여, 좁은 골목 환경 속에서도 단정하면서도 명확한 존재감을 드러내도록 했다.
Located along a narrow residential alley in Yeonnam-dong, this mixed-use building accommodates retail, office, and residential functions within a compact urban footprint. The ground floor houses a shop, the second floor is designated as office space, and the third and fourth floors are planned as residential units.
In response to the daylight setback regulations, the southern façade of the third floor recedes from approximately eye level, forming a sloped roof that extends up to the fourth floor. This configuration allows the uppermost level to incorporate a generous outdoor terrace, offering a sense of openness within the dense urban fabric.
The exterior is clad in elongated Australian black bricks, whose slender proportions emphasise verticality while lending the building a restrained yet distinct presence along the narrow alley.
